On July 31, the Kud Wafter anime crowdfunding completed its first stretch goal of 45 million yen, 150% of its original goal! This means the OVA’s run-time will be extended from 20 to 30 minutes and will have extra music. The campaign page has now been updated with a new stretch goal of 60 million. With that money, the staff is promising a 40 minute OVA which would also be released in theaters. The campaign still has 60 days remaining, and VisualArt’s says that, even if 60 million is a lot, they wish to chase this dream together with their fans. We’ll keep you updated in their progress!
