We’ve been promising this one for a while, and now it’s finally time to share the details on Kazamatsuri’s fifth Bookclub! The Tomoyo After Bookclub will run from the 15th of August for four weeks, concluding on the 9th of September.
It’s a chance for both newcomers and veterans to Tomoyo After alike to come together to discuss the visual novel on the forum in commemoration of the title’s first official English release on Steam! Our more creative members will be encouraged to produce fanworks for the title, and a select few of our community will be granted the opportunity to appear on a series of podcasts discussing each arc as we read through the visual novel.
On the 26th we’ll record a Podcast discussing Tomoya’s arc. That’s two weeks before we record the first podcast, so you have time to read ahead and engage in the discussion.
On the 2nd we’ll record one discussing Takafumi’s arc.
On the 9th of September we’ll discuss Tomo’s arc.
And on the 16th we’ll conclude with a discussion of the After arc, as well as Tomoyo After as a whole.
If you end up having difficulty working through the VN, forumer Karifean has prepared a walkthrough to help you out.
As added incentive, we’re hoping to include some contributions made for the Tomoyo After Bookclub in The K.E.Y., our upcoming fanbook showcasing the passion of the international Key fandom. Tomoyo After fans, now is your time to shine!
So, get excited guys! Now’s the time to pick up Tomoyo After if you haven’t already, and start preparing to take notes! While the Bookclub doesn’t officially commence until the 15th of August, you’re more than welcome to start early! Just hop on the forum and start sharing your thoughts on Tomoyo After in our selection of forum topics. When it comes time for the Podcast, we’ll be using forum contributions to guide what we’ll be talking about, so be sure to give us lots of content to bring up! Speak your mind! Let us know what these stories mean to you.
