VisualArt's/Key at Creative Paradise!

planetarian at Creative Paradise

As part of VisualArt’s/Key’s overseas activities, they will be attending the Creative Paradise convention in Hong Kong which starts today, July 28th and goes on until the 30th of July at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (香港会議展覧中心). This isn’t their first time participating in this event, as they were also a part of Creative Paradise 03 last year.

This year, Key will be bringing over Keiko Suzuki and E-ji Komatsu, the voice actor of Yumemi (and several other Key heroines) and illustrator of planetarian respectively, as special guests to the event. They’ll be holding a planetarian special stage talk on the 29th at 4pm. A very timely decision, considering this allows them to market the recently released planetarian HD edition, available in Chinese!

Aside from these special guests, Key are planning to sell limited goods at their booth (Hall 3C 3R08) such as framed ‘reflection’ art, tapestries, more dango cushions, as well as amazing full-graphic T-shirts! The reflection art was sold during previous conventions such Character1 and Anime Central.

They’ll also be giving out special badges with every purchase, which may also be given out during other events–!

Key will also be auctioning off their booth decorations at the end of the event. These will be signed by staff members like composers, illustrators or voice actors! You’ll have to be an attendee and be available to collect it in person, in addition to filling out this form. Winners will be contacted on the 30th via telephone in Cantonese and have to pay in cash.

There will also be autograph sessions for the two special guests. To attend this, you’ll have to purchase any Key/I’ve merchandise and specify which one you want to attend to get a ticket, but there will be limited spaces. Keiko Suzuki’s session will be on 28th July 14:00-14:45 and she can sign any Key merchandise or a shikishi bought there. E-ji Komatsu’s session will be on 29th July 18:00-18:45 and he can sign any merchandise/doujin related to him or also a shikishi.

Let us know in the comments below what you’re excited to see and whether you’ll be going to Creative Paradise to pick up these gorgeous goods!
