In what seems to be a sudden announcement, Key has introduced on their official website a special Angel Beats! -1st beat- exhibit as part of the celebration for Key’s 15th anniversary.
There will be two legs of the exhibit: The first will be at 13 Shiki Special Event Space in Akihabara, Tokyo, and will be held from June 19, 2015 to July 2, 2015. The second leg will be at the Gee Store Osaka ANNEX in Nipponbashi, Osaka, to be held from June 26, 2015 to July 20, 2015.
The exhibit will feature panels of rough sketches of the Angel Beats -1st beat- CGs, as had been featured previously in Key 15th Fes. Akiba Base!!. Along with this exhibit, they also plan to sell numerous goods, some of which were also featured in Key 15th Fes. Also up for grabs are special Angel Beats! postcards and rice crackers, which you will be receiving upon purchasing some of the goods.
Yes, these are edible
However, as a special feature of this exhibit, Key will also be holding an opening ceremony for the event, featuring none other than Kai himself, one of the writers of Angel Beats! -1st beat-. The opening ceremony will be held on the first days of both legs of the exhibit, namely, June 19 for Akihabara and June 26 for Osaka. In order to gain access to the opening ceremony, one must simply show proof of their purchase of Angel Beats! -1st beat- and spend 3,000 JPY at the Exhibit.
This seems to be the last big event before the release of Angel Beats! -1st beat-, and what an event it is. This will be a great way to celebrate the release of the game, and is a nice chance for those excited about the game to prepare for it!
