Well, we didn’t expect this to hit so suddenly! VisualArt’s are hitting Anime Expo hard, promoting the sudden unexpected release of Tomoyo After ~It’s A Wonderful Life~ on Steam! The title is being sold at a standard price of $19.99 USD, but is on sale at 20% off - $15.99 - until the 9th of July. That’s pretty damn cheap!
Tomoyo After is a spin-off of Key’s famous CLANNAD, and follows the life of Tomoya after forming a relationship with one of the heroines of the first game, Tomoyo. Aside from sharing the same setting and a few characters, the story of Tomoyo After is entirely distinct from that of its originator, focusing on some pretty heavy themes and expanding on the concept of ‘family’. If you haven’t had the chance to read it, this is one that many of our forum members will heartily recommend as one of Key’s best works. You can learn more about the title here on our info page. To be honest, Kazamatsuri was caught a bit off-guard by this sudden release; it came a lot sooner than we were expecting!
