Originally announced during Anime Expo 2017, MangaGamer will be developing an original visual novel named Koropokur in Love~A Little Fairy’s Tale~! Key fans will be excited to know that Itaru Hinoue is working on the project as the lead character designer and illustrator in this heartwarming story of Koropokkur in Love! Other staff on the project include the writer Naito Miyu (Suki to Suki to Sankaku Renai, Bokura no Sekai ni Shufuku wo), the music studio Funczion SOUNDS (Cross Channel, Yume Miru Kusuri, SWAN SONG), and lastly MangaGamer for localisation.
‘Koropokkur in Love’ centers around a group of small fairies living in a village in Hokkaido which locals have named Koropokkur. As time passes, the Koropokkur were forbidden to approach the human world and were soon forgotten.
Following the footsteps of a legendary young Koropokkur who became human and found love in the human world, the heroine Asirrera’s curiosity gets the better of her and she also sets foot into the human world! She encounters the protagonist Satoru and due to her clumsiness, ends up helping him with his maid cafe in Akihabara.
MangaGamer are looking to raise a base fee of $30,000 from the Kickstarter, with various stretch goals including full Japanese voice acting, side stories of the other two heroines, and Live2D animation! You can get a digital copy of the game by pledging at least $15 to the Kickstarter. Higher tiers include goods such as physical copies of the game, the OST, and shikishi. The highest tier (limited to five people) is at $7,500, this offers you a chance to go to Japan and have dinner with none other than Itaru Hinoue!
