Hold on to your Gusks, because it’s Hibiki news out of nowhere time!

… Alright, while perhaps not exactly out of nowhere, an interesting bit of news for those interested in Jun Maeda’s original manga work who haven’t been able to read it as of yet has come up!

While originally localized and printed by TokyoPop, Hibiki’s Magic has been easy for some to pick up and quite a challenge to purchase for others. Thankfully, while it was worrisome if the manga would get any more acknowledgement at all with its odd release schedule, Viz Media picked up the series under everyone’s radar and released the already translated first and second issues digitally on their Viz Manga app! Now, if you have access to Amazon, a kindle, an apple device, google play- You name it- You too can read what’s been translated of Hibiki’s Magic so far!

It’s still up in the air whether or not the recent 3rd and 4th volumes of the Manga will be put up for sale in English by Viz, but we’ll just have to wait and see. I’d say the odds aren’t too bad!

The digital release of Hibiki’s Magic’s volumes go for $5 a piece, and you can read a good fourth of the first book as a trial on Viz Media’s site. So, what are you waiting for? Go give Viz some incentive to release the next batch!

Special thanks to forum user Bacon41 for sharing the information.
